About The Author
Jeremiah Isaiah Cain was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He grew up in East Memphis and was adopted into a beautiful family at the age of 2 years old. He was gifted with computer technology through Kirby middle & Ridgeway high school. After graduating high school, he was given the opportunity soon afterwards to visit ITT Technical Institute, a vocational school where he would eventually pursue a career in Information Technology and earned his Associate’s degree. After a successful career in Information Technology and eventually Cybersecurity, he then became an instructor/educator at an information technology school empowering others with the knowledge on how to build computer networks. Jeremiah gave his life to Jesus Christ and got saved at the age of 23 and started his journey as a Christian believer. At the age of 24 he began to suffer from major mental health issues ranging from Stress, Anxiety and Depression to ADHD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia and Psychosis, and even hit a breaking point of encounters with the FBI and the Secret Service. He went through this ordeal over the course of 5 years. While going through the crisis, God planted a vision of Him becoming an author while he was in a mental health facility. Now “Restored”, through the power of prayer and perseverance, coupled with a God orchestrated mental health specialist and strong family support system. Jeremiah invites readers to experience his awesome journey of restoration in his book entitled “Restored: A Journey through Adoption and Mental Health that lead to my Purpose. He is currently pursuing degrees in psychology to deepen his understanding of mental health and to better serve individuals and families.
Jeremiah’s current goal now is to make a difference in people lives through sharing his story and through speaking engagements across the entire world starting in his local community, Memphis, increasing awareness on mental health challenges.
